1.      COLLEGE LIBRARY

The college  Main Library has a well-furnished hall and well-equipped reading hall where the students can avail the facility of more than17 thousand books on various subjects including Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Quranic Versions of Tafseer and many other reference books. Ago od number of reputed National Dailies, Newspapers/Magazines/Journals are also available in the library in English and Urdu languages. Each student is issued a Library card on which he can borrow books. The main purpose of library is to develop reading habit and enhance learning opportunities among the students and the teaching faculty. A separate library in each of the Postgraduate Blocks is also providing reading facilities to the learners.

• ·         Silence must be observed in the library.
• ·         The use of mobile phones is strictly banned.
• ·         The students should be in proper college uniform and in possession of their library cards while entering the library.
• ·         Other Rules and Regulations are displayed on the library board and the students must follow them strictly.

2.      JINNAH HOSTEL

Govt. Postgraduate collegeGojra offers hostel facility for male students only. It is a spacious and peaceful corner building in the north of the campus. It can accommodate more than 60 students. All regular College students can take admission in the College Hostel. However, it is not allotted to failing students. Hostel rules and regulations are implemented by the Hostel Superintendent and are displayed on the board for information of the students.

 

3.   COMPUTER SCIENCE LABORATORY

The college has a modern sophisticated air-conditioned computer lab, which is serving the students of computer science. It provides conducive atmosphere for IT promotion and computer education. A free DSL internet connection for the students and teaching faculty is available 24 hours. The computer lab aims at providing quality education in IT. At present the computer science department is providing ICS, B.Sc. Computer Studies and many other professional diplomas and certificates. The lab is well equipped with the latest  computers interlinked with networking. Moreover, the college has a separate Information Technology Center to provide IT facilities to the teaching faculty and the students. It is run by the college authorities independently with the cooperation of PTCL.

4.      SCIENCE LABORATORIES

Our College is the only institution of the Government in the area where Science students are provided with facilities of well equipped modern Science Laboratories. These Laboratories have all types of equipment required for practical examinations at all levels. The College Museum and Botanical garden also help the students in research work.

 

 5.      PARKING/ CYCLE-STAND

The College has a spacious parking/ cycle stand facility for the students and the College staff. The students can park their vehicle, cycle, motorcycle & car through a given token. It is in the best interest of the students, that they should not park their vehicles except the parking. Otherwise, the College Administration will fine them on the Spot. The students will pay then cycle fee to contractor.

 

6.      COLLEGE DISPENSARY

The College Dispensary provides instant medical aid/ First aid to the students in case of any ailment.A full-time Dispenser takes care of the college dispensary.  Necessary medicines are available. The students can get them easily as the need arises.  During sports and other College events College Dispensary provides instant medical First aid facilities to the players on the ground.

 

7.      CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Different types of societies and forums are constituted in the College to promote Literary and co-curricular activities among the students.

8.      COLLEGE MAGAZINE (RANG-E-SAHAR)

The Rang-e-Sahar is a beautiful co-effort of the Teachers and Students to enhance literary activities in the college. It is published on yearly basis and has a respectful place in the literary circles of this fertile area.

9.      STUDY TOUR

Exposure to environment is essential for broadening mental horizons. Student tours comprise the main part of the college’s co-curricular activities. Each student may participate at least once in study tour arranged by the concerned teaching department during his study at the college. Such tours are primarily financed by the students and supplemented to a reasonable extent by the college.

 

10.  MOSQUE

A beautiful mosque is situated near Jinnah Hostel where five time prayers are offered by the students and staff as well.

 

 

11.  BOTANICAL GARDEN

There is a lush green beautiful and well-planted botanical garden in the college. The college scenery is spectacular and breathtaking with lovely colorful followers and plants of this garden.

 

12.  SPORTS AND GAMES

Sports are a part and parcel of education. It is essential for every student to take part in some kind of sports activity so that equal growth of all aspects of his personality can be made possible. The College holds the record of winning Kabaddi Championship of Board for more than 15 times. Moreover in Hockey every year our College stands victorious in many tournaments. The College has maintained very spacious & beautiful ground for Hockey, Football, Cricket, Basket Ball, Volley Ball and Badminton. The College Annual Sports play significant role in promoting these healthy activities among College students. The Students who perform distinctly in sports are awarded prizes and Certificates.
